Yad Vashem

Yad Vashem Seminar series consists of two parts. The first part takes place in Stockholm during the autumn and it serves as an introduction to the Yad Vashem Seminar, which will take place in Jerusalem in January. The autumn session focuses on the Educational Approach of Yad Vashem, on the definition of the terms that will be used, and on the challenges related to the topic of the Holocaust. In Yad Vashem, the students will join the Seminar ‘Teaching about the Holocaust, Antisemitism and Jewish Identity’. It is based on a multidisciplinary approach that will be presented by professors and experts from Yad Vashem and other institutions on History, Art, Philosophy, Theology, Sociology, Politics and Pedagogy.
