Caron Sethill
15 teaching hours, equivalent to 1 ECTS

London born and raised, Caron has lived in Israel since 1984. Starting out as a software engineer, she moved to the British Council Israel, spending 25 years there promoting cultural relations between Britain and Israel, leading bilateral programs in sport and coexistence; higher education cooperation; equality and diversity; science communication and public sector reform. Now at the National Library of Israel (NLI) as Programme Manager Europe, Caron is leading Gesher L’Europa, creating opportunities for exchange and enrichment between the Library and Jewish communities throughout Europe, sharing knowledge and engaging communities in the Library’s rich and diverse collections.

The National Library of Israel (NLI) Seminar consists of preliminary visit of the NLI representatives to Stockholm, in order to get to know the students, explore common themes of interest and brief them on the NLI. This will enable NLI to tailor the program to engage with the group’s general areas of interest, to provide students with an opportunity to explore collections at the NLI through presentations, practical activities and discussions, and to acquire skills on how to use these collections.
