In year 2020, it was 115 years since Bertha von Suttner became the first woman to win a Nobel Peace Prize and 100 years since married women were finally liberated from the guardianship of their spouses and granted legal majority in Sweden. Therefore, Kolnoa (Bio) brought the topic of women in Israeli Cinema before the pandemic came. As first movie we introduced To Take a Wife and on December 12 (2 years after), we will show its second part the movie Shiva.

About movie:

Jealousy, gossip, long term rivalry and financial problems come to the fore, as each of the siblings is faced with their frustrated ambitions. Shiva is the second chapter in the excellent trilogy by Ronit and Shlomi Elkabetz.
